Breakfast in Sellwood

S and I recently bought bikes in an effort to get us off the couch and into the great outdoors. It takes some practice to ride in downtown traffic but after a few times, I think we've got the hang of it. There is a path called the Springwater Corridor that runs from downtown to Salem and beyond. We've ridden it once with my dad a few weeks ago which was a lot of fun.

We woke up yesterday and decided to have breakfast at Fat Alberts in Sellwood(multiple "best of" local awards...check it out sometime!) which is about 3.5 miles along that path. It was a beautiful ride and a gorgeous sunny day. I'm not sure if we'll ever ride out there for breakfast again though, because while the ride was great and the food was amazing....it was really hard to get back on the bike and ride home. But we braved full tummies and food induced comas and were able to make it home (okay...I admit I had to walk up the hill on the way home. The hill we live on is killer!).
